HI, I’M TOM.
ALWAYS BUILDING.

I build internet companies. I co-founded MediaFire, which we bootstrapped to over 100 million monthly users. Before that, I built IntoMobile, covering the smartphone revolution before the iPhone arrived.

Now I’m building Fast.io, rethinking cloud storage for teams. Alongside that work, I make open-source tools like Alloy.

I grew up in Ithaca, New York; Edmonton, Canada; and Loma Linda, California. I earned a degree in Neuroscience at UC Davis. That background informs how I approach product design: understanding people comes before designing the software they use.

I live in Austin, Texas, with my wife and our two children. Away from work, I’m usually spending time with family or exploring the hill country.
